The Gardens of
Fanshawe College Blog

This week has been cooler than last week with a couple
mornings that were very cold. It was nice to have a bit of a break from the hot
humid weather from last week. The crew and I continued with our clean-up of the
campus for graduation by focusing on the entrance garden beds for a nice spring view
as you drive into the college. While trimming down some grasses at the Fanshawe
Blvd. entrance we found a duck living amongst them.
In the greenhouse we have been continuing to get our plants
set up for our annual plant sale which goes on this weekend. We encourage
everyone to come in and take a look at our plant selection. The plants in bloom
are lighting up the greenhouse with color, the marigolds and geraniums especially.
With another week at Fanshawe coming to an end I cannot wait
to see what next week and the rest of the summer has in store for myself and
the crew.
